The Rotary Districts 5360 (Southern Alberta) and 5340 (Southern California) shall cooperate to implement a $200,000 US ($220,000 CA) Microcredit Program in support of the poor people of Liberia, West Africa. This will address the Millennium Development Goal of cutting in half the number of people living on less than one dollar per day, estimated to be 1.2 billion.
